Health Navigator

Health Navigator is Abi’s conversational virtual assistant. It interprets natural-language health questions and can return general health information, actionables, and partner-configured resources. It is designed for health guidance rather than formal diagnosis or treatment recommendations.

Health Navigator can be configured to guide users toward relevant content, client services, portals, external resources, or human support based on the conversation. This lets a partner use one conversational entry point across health guidance, benefits navigation, eligibility journeys, and a handoff to another approved service.

The service is available to users with an active subscription when it is included in the partner configuration. The exact experience, supported actions, and escalation paths must be agreed with Abi before release.

  1. Start a conversation for an authenticated user.
  2. Send a user message and retain the returned identifiers.
  3. Receive replies through the configured webhook flow.
  4. Retrieve messages, conversation history, or a user’s conversations when needed.
  5. Close the conversation explicitly or allow the documented automatic closure behavior.

Messages can contain text, structured content parts, actionables, and information resources. Partner configuration can steer users toward relevant portals, services, product pages, external resources, or human support.

  • Present guidance with the limitations agreed for your product.
  • Avoid presenting generated information as a formal diagnosis.
  • Follow the approved retention, encryption, access-control, and escalation policies.
  • Validate webhook authenticity before processing replies.
